Ceiling Large Tree Stencil

Large Tree Trunk Stencil      Shown with leaves       Shown in an actual ceiling mural

Appearing to stand miles above your head, this tree stencil design is a cinch to do and fabulous in your ceiling mural!

The leafy portion of the tree is done first and I simply used a wall painting brush to blot this portion of the design with two shades of green paint. Dark and very light (at the top).

Start by tracing the trunk and branches out on the ceiling in pencil to give you the exact location you will be using it, then blot your tree leaves. Now, stencil the complete trunk stencil over the top of the sponged or blotted leaves and you wind up with this fabulous tree.

If you remember to keep the inside of your circle of leaves darker and the top side lighter, your tree will take on a more realistic appearance.  with the sun shining on the "top" of the tree rather than the underneath side.

3 Overlays, 22" tall by 16" wide (at the bottom).
