Great Furniture Make Overs from a Talented and Fun Lady

Chest Before

Chest After

Painted Table

I was so delighted to get an email from Jenn Krimmer showing me some of her creative furniture make-overs. Jenn, obviously is like me. I hate tossing out sturdy pieces of furniture and I find nothing more rewarding than rescuing that piece, giving it new life and turning it in to something I wind up treasuring for decades longer.

Jenn's creativity is inspiring to say the least and her designs are unconventional. So not only does she does she extend the life of worn furniture, she creates one conversation piece after another!

In here email, Jenn states:

I do this in my "spare" time.  I'm 45, have 6 children, (ages 25-12) five daughters and 1 son.  Oh, and 4 dogs and a hubby who owns his own pizza restaurant here in Cincinnati.  I work full time as a criminal defense paralegal.  So I paint to keep my sanity and I have found it's cheaper than a shrink!

My friends and family love my stuff.....and they all want me to paint a room for them, but my pieces are just a little.....too much, too crazy....too out there for them!  As for me, I love my Marilyn Cabinet.  I love people coming into my house and saying.....oh my gosh, I love that, I have a pair of mannequin legs, that I got out of the garbage, I buried her somewhat in the ground and her legs are coming up out of the ground and I did mosaic on them....they are back by my pool.....I love them!

Now this is a home I'd love to visit!

Great job Jenn!

The rest of us can get inspired by Jenn's ideas, boldness and creativity. Remember, it's just paint! You can always paint over it...so go for it, have some fun and as with Jenn, you just might come up with something really awesome and worth showing off!
