What a Fireplace make-over! |

Faye Forsythe is no ordinary woman. She's the "Do it Yourself" Queen of everything! She hated her fireplace. It was old, outdated and unsightly. But to Faye, that's a challenge...not a problem! She chipped out the green tiles and replaced them with more modern and darkly colored new ones to give depth to the hearth. Then, with her trusty scroll saw, she cut a scalloped board to become the front of a new mantle encasement. Attaching sides and a top, she then used two of our Plaster Ornamental Molds to cast beautiful plaster ornaments which she attached to the front. After giving everything a beautiful, decorative coating of paint, her fireplace is now the focal point of the room! See where I get it from? You can give your fireplace a make-over in the same way, with just a little patience, a bit of wood, one of our molds and some paint. What a huge difference! I'm headed off to see her in just two weeks and can't wait to get the grand tour around her beautiful home and see what other fabulous things she's done that I can tell you about!
