Joyce White Adds Beauty To Her Door

Joyce became intrigued with the plaster of paris molds and went to town decorating her home with them.

Using our Over The Door Shell Arch Mold she applied the finished piece to the cross member on her door to add a bit of architectural interest.

Paint it the same color as the door or give it an accent color or even a faux finish such as wood grain or marble.

Eddie McMillan used the same design in his ceiling medallion around a light fixture.

It's EASY to create these wonderful pieces. See How to Cast A Plaster Mold

Simply pour mixed plaster of paris in to a mold that you have wiped with mineral oil or sprayed with cooking spray, let it set up, pop it out of the mold and let it dry then use common joint compound (spread on the back of the piece) as your adhesive!

It's so easy and so beautiful!
