A quick visit to Ellie Van Dijken-Ellis's website at eliteartistrybyellie.com, gives you the immediate sense of the extreme talent rolled up in to this one highly creative person.

Besides possessing striking physical beauty, Ellie has another type beauty.....it's obvious and it comes from inside her mind, traveling through her hands to become art that transforms someone's home.

Some of her finishes are so unique! Especially those that are profile relief in nature.

Here she used our Raised Plaster Grapevine and Mold Stencil Set to create a most luscious and colorful design on a clients kitchen island. Talk about high end!

In her email, Ellie said: "

II used your grape mold to finish a kitchen. I wanted to show you the results.

I did a skip trowel of Modern Masters texture effects tinted with Martini Olive underneath the relief. I than painted all the plaster pieces (there was allot!) and glued them on with hard as nails. After gluing I went back over each piece and filled in all the space between the plaster relief and the wall with the texture effects. When that was finished I glazed everything with Modern Masters Glaze tinted with earth brown.

It turned out spectacular!"

Fascinated with the urn in her design, I quizzed her about it and found out that it too is made of plaster.......... She found the urn at a yard sale, made a mold out of it and Wha La! She has wall art. Now THAT's inventive. My kind of gal!

As I stand and applaud this talented lady, I find I am also inspired to get a little more creative with my own decorating. Mind you, just because I'm a designer, doesn't mean I don't get inspired by all of YOU!

Thank you Ellie and what a GREAT website!
