Raised Plaster Life-sized Aspen Tree Stencil

I love the rich tones that Carolyn Pierce, chose for her Raised Plaster Aspen Trees. Deep gold walls and pre-tinted joint compound let her add color as she plastered the tree stencil on to her walls.

Creating numerous trees gives her the feel of woods or a forest and creates real drama on the walls rather than doing just one simple tree design.

The rich gold of the wall exudes elegance from the first glace!

GREAT job Carolyn and we love it that you cared to share!

Designers tip:

When you want a "white" raised plaster design on your walls, there's no need to paint it. The joint compound dries pure white. Simply seal it with a coat of 1/2 white glue (such as Elmer's) and 1/2 water to keep dirt from building up on the surface over time.
