Decorating Ideas with Plaster Stenciling

So dramatically beautiful!

Celia Cezzium  is obviously a woman who decorates "outside the box". She's obviously someone who wants something different...beyond the norm.....something that makes a real statement!

Well, she succeeded in accomplishing just that by painting her wall an ultra rich blue, then using our Raised Plaster Aspen Tree Stencil, proceeded to create 4 detailed Aspens with plenty of crossing branches.

Leaving the new cluster of Aspens in the pure white of the dried joint compound creates a very stark contrast over the darkly colored wall and makes the trees a most beautiful focal point!

Canister lighting from above that shines down on to the trees further enhances the design.

Now, can you just imagine the gasps of shock and delight every time someone new comes in to her home and sees this magnificent creation? All that would escape my lips would be: "Wow".

Celia! You do have a bit of "designer" in you!

Designers tip:

So you don't have canister lighting and don't want to go to the expense or trouble of installing it? You can still add dramatic lighting to your raised wall designs by purchasing inexpensive floor canister lights from Lowe's, Home Depot or just about any lighting store for around $10.00. I always choose the variety that is tilt-able so I can shine it right up on the wall.
