Raised Plaster Leaf Spray Stencil

Have you ever run across someone who automatically has an eye for design and elegance? For me, one of those people is Ellie Reeves-Walker.

Every time she sends me a photo of something she's done in her home, I just fall to my knees over the beauty!

Here, Ellie painted her a rich tone of gray/green. She then did sponging with a lighter sage over the top of it in a random pattern.

Using our Raised Plaster Leaf Spray Stencil she plastered the leaves in a random pattern to create a lovely and very simple medallion around her fixture. Here's what she had to say:

I measured out where my medallion would be and then just randomly placed the leaf pattern in a circular shape on the ceiling... then i went around the room with SEVERAL different shades of green in a circular pattern to represent "the wind"... and then i just dry brushed the leaves with some gold paint.  it looks SO RICH and it was SO SIMPLE to use the stencil!  THANKS

Ellie, as I bow humbly to your talent, I beg you please, please, don't stop sharing! (Hmmmmm, my dressing room ceiling is screaming for this beautiful treatment!).

For the rest of you, sometimes, all it takes is a bit of paint, a simple design and a GREAT idea like this to give your rooms an updated, classy look. So give it a try and feel that beautiful sense of satifaction!

Designer's Tip: Any simple stencil design, whether painted or plastered can create dramatic designs by simply repeating them as Ellie did. Consider this treatment for breathtaking walls!
