Raised Plaster Burkshire Frieze Stencil

The moment Ellie Reeves-Walker sent me this photo of her plaster stenciled ceiling, I fell in love. The ceiling came out gorgeous, but it was the entire room design that really grabbed me and how she put it all together so beautifully.

It exudes elegance and class, feminine softness and class. I could see myself spending hours on end in this room.

When I see a room like this that I truly love, I try to examine just what was done to create the look. Enlarge the photo by clicking on it and notice the following:

The theme is soft roses. Depicted in the wallpaper with it's soft creamy background, Ellie created a frame on the ceiling and plastered our Raised Plaster Burkshire Frieze Stencil in to the corners.

The accent color she used in the room is found in the bed linens and repeated as the background color to the ceiling frame.

Other furnishings and accents are equally elegant and help to create a luscious setting that any elegant lady would enjoy!

Thanks Ellie!

Designer's Tip: When you find yourself with two un-like colors in a room and don't know how to make them flow together, take a tip from Ellie and incorporate those colors in to painted frames on the walls or ceiling and/or add accessories in the same colors. It's a great way to make everything come together in a lovely way!
