Tree detail

Janie Weidner has an eye for decorating. It's apparent in her choice of designs and lay out for her beautiful home.

With the qualities of a stately mansion, Janie's home deserved something fitting it's unique beauty.

An entrance in the upstairs area was transformed from plain to breathtaking by adding our Raised Plaster Aspen Tree Stencil to either side of the doorway.

Creating a number of trees gave the entrance much more detail. By doing the trees in only a slightly darker color than the walls allowed the trees to compliment the entrance without becoming overbearing or taking away from the beautiful arched double doorway. It still remains the intended focal point.

Artwork hung on either side of the entrance, in the same rich tones as the door completes the picture beautifully.

Designer's Tips:

Remember that the joint compound can be pre-tinted with deeply colored paints (remember that the compound will be extremely lighter than the color you add once dried), Universal tints or even concrete or stucco colorings. By doing this, you save time painting your design later yet it will  not affect the removability of the design at a later date.
