Painted baby's bench

Linda Greem and her husband create hand crafted furniture for sale. Some years ago, when she first stumbled upon our Raised Plaster Stencils, she couldn't dial my number quick enough!

The first order she placed was so wildly large that I had to ask her what she was up to. When she told me about her business and said that she was going to use the designs to add the look of ornate carvings to their furniture, she said it with the most adorable giggle in her voice!

It wasn't two weeks later that I received a lovely email from her showing me this fabulous bench she had just completed.

She used our   Raised  Plaster Victorian Door Scroll Stencil on the back of this bench. Once she was finished, it looked like carved wood!

Her most proud moment was being able to say that not only did she do it herself, she also paid so little for it yet was able to charge much more for the bench just because of the raised design.

Take a look at some of her creative furniture painting in the baby's bench project just below.

Designer's Tips:

Raised plaster designs can dress up any old piece of furniture that you are currently thinking of discarding or giving away. From trash to treasure, you wouldn't believe the difference that a bit of plaster stenciling to create a raised pattern and a new coat of paint can do for a piece that currently seems plain and uninviting.
