Designer, Faux Finish Artist
Extraordinaire, Marsha Fox
has more going for her than just her eye for color.
When she envisions a wall treatment, it's
not just the treatment, such as the stencil design or colors she will use,
it's the entire wall, the entire room that she takes in to consideration.
It's this very trait that makes Marsha a sought after artist by high end
home owners and interior designers.
In this stately home, Marsha was
commissioned to create elegant wall panels in this un-finished room.
I could just imagine her standing back,
taking it all in: the beauty of the two toned floors, the richness and depth
of the blue tones used on the walls, the pale and medium beiges chosen to be
bring in the floor color. Even the stark white columns and moldings. It was
her job to bring it all together in a unique and beautiful way.
I can see her now with her finger to her
chin as she takes it all in and then that euphoric second that the light
bulb goes off above her head with the perfect answer; the perfect design;
the perfect execution of it.

She used our Raised Plaster Palm Leaf
Stencil inside white wall frames in a random pattern. Taking in the neutral
tones in the room in the background and some of the leaves, but she also
included blue leaves in the same tone (though a paler color) of the blue
wall.
The result is striking! Brilliant! So
"Marsha".
Over the years, as I've seen her work,
I've only become more and more amazed at this designer's talent. And yes,
she IS a designer! A designer of elegance. A designer of beauty. A designer
of art.
