Suzanne Rende has been a friend of our community website for quite some time! Her great ideas have inspired many of us to create similar looks in our own homes.

Suzanne always has a new idea to share and this time she offers us her stunning ceiling design.

Here's what she says about the project:

I wanted to share my first project of
the year with you.
I combined raised plaster stencils, ornamental molds and hand
painting to create
decorative panels in-between 9 wooden ceiling beams. The home owners
and I were
extremely happy with the results. It was a tough job as the ceiling
is 20 feet up and
there was a lot of measuring and climbing up a down scaffolding
hundreds of times
but the end result was so worth it.
Also I have found a great use for the left over mixed plaster that
you just don't want to
toss away but is also not enough to fill an entire mold. I fill just
the centers of rosette molds
which are just mini flowers. I have found so many places for them
and I get to use every
last drop of mixed plaster.
I am so excited to see the new ornamental molds!

Warmest Regards, Suzanne
