Decorating with Plaster Stenciling

Even work spaces get plastered!

It started out as a plain wood packaging table. Where we keep our packing materials for shipping.

Blah and boring, I decided to give it a new look with our Raised Plaster Acanthus Corner Stencil.

No need to prepare the surface since it was raw wood. I simply plastered the design on to the face of the boards then let it cure for 48 hours.

I then gave it a coat of cream colored paint and a color wash of brown craft paint mixed with a little glaze.

I wiped the mixture on, then quickly wiped it off, allowing the color to stay in the recesses of the design which really made it pop!

Any old piece of furniture you might consider tossing might well become a piece that you treasure forever when given the beauty of Raised Plaster Stencils and a bit of paint.

So give it another look and turn a once old and tired piece in to a real keepsake!
