Johanna Annable is a professional Faux Finish Artist who recently worked with the "Parade of Homes" team in Portland, Oregon.

We've enjoyed many conversations both by phone and email and I can tell you from experience that this girl has got an eye that is rare in this industry.

Such vision winds up resulting in very happy customers for Johanna and beautiful results that she so generously allows me to share with you!

Using our Raised Plaster Pine Branch and Mold Stencil Set Johanna first created a lovely, sage green and pale brown finish on the general wall which then blended to a deeper green finish toward the top.

At the top of the walls, she then added the Raised Plaster Pine branch stencil in various shades of sage green (which tied in to the sage on the lower portion of the wall).

After casting the pinecones from the mold, she then painted them different shades of brown and varnished them to a brilliant shine, attaching them over the tops of the branches. (Click photos to enlarge and see the detail of this terrific wall!).

She completed the room by taping off a rectangle on the ceiling and using the same finish within the green border of the ceiling design.

I love, love, LOVE creative people and this room is absolutely the epitome of great design, great color choice and exquisite creativity!

Thank you so much Johanna!
