Decorating with Plaster Stenciling

In decorating her Foyer (top photo), she found a lovely striped wallpaper in subdued neutral brown tones with an acanthus top border. To bring that detail in to the ceiling, she used a raised plaster design as a border to encase the ceiling, pre-tinting it the same color as the design in the wall paper. It's quite beautiful.

Being the ever adventurous woman she is and certainly unafraid to try new things, Pat added Raised Plaster Stenciling to her sun room ceiling, completely covering every inch with raised detail. (2nd photo).

On the walls, she created raised plaster frames with a border design.

The third photo shows a large Raised Plaster corner design with a border on the ceiling.\

I wonder how many walls Pat has left and if she's going to have to sell her house and look for a larger place in the near future just so she can continue to plaster her heart out!
