Creating Lace Corners with a Stencil and Plaster

(Click Photos to Enlarge)

Susie Issacs has been using our stencils for years. But this is one of my favorite wall treatments she has come up with!

She used our  Raised Plaster Ansella Frieze Stencil

to add beautiful corners to her pale blue walls. She kept the design the pure white color of the dried joint compound to add a very delicate, lacy look to the wall. Using smaller elements, she did a wallpaper effect over the rest of the wall to bring it all together.

Completing the picture with an ornate wire wall hanging, the design becomes the focal point while the plaster stenciling is the support design.

Just beautiful!

Designers tip:

Adding designs to corners stops the wall from looking so "square". It adds softness and detail that gives the wall not only a new style, but detail as well.
