Annie Wilmeth-Newton,
has a love for Victorian style decorating and she looked to the ceiling to
make a grand statement!
Brilliant colors, cast plaster and wooden frames, old
Victorian photos, cards and memorabilia and ornate stenciling created a
ceiling frame that not only gets your attention, it captivates you!
Deep purple surrounds a ceiling frame of green with white
center. Framed photos were literally glued to the ceiling and an ornate
design stenciled in white creates a highly detailed border to separate the
colors.
I love this idea! I loved the detail it added and the
creative use of the space for a "purpose"...to show off collectibles that
she treasures.
GREAT Job and terrific inspiration! Thank you!
Designer's tip: Just about any of
our plaster molds can be used to create "frames" on the ceiling. Also,
consider mounting inexpensive wood frames from the dollar store or sale bin
and then painting them the same color as the ceiling.
