Decorating with Cast Plaster
Charlie Shunig's fascination with plaster

Maybe not a professional who faux finishes walls for clients, or one who holds a brush as it touches a canvas, but Charlie is none-the-less an artist. With the discovery of Raised Plaster Stenciling and cast plaster ornaments from molds, Charlie has begun to transform his home in to the dream he's so long had in his mind. His most recent project is the dining room pictured in the top photo. Those gorgeous sage green walls and richly textured wood moldings and furniture set a perfect backdrop for brilliant cast plaster medallions and small rosettes on the staircase wall. Notice how the china matches? And just the light from the chandelier makes a "magazine" worthy picture! Be proud Charlie... you did a great job!
