Brought together by our love of design, texture, beauty and this wonderful industry, Deborah Cuyle and I have become close friends.

With talent oozing from every cell in her body, this young woman delivers excellence in everything she creates.

At her adorably decorated home in Snohomish, Washington, complete with spot murals here and there, Italian finishes and a quaint artist's retreat above the garage, Deborah showed me her sample boards that she produces to clients.

With this board, she used our Raised Plaster Fireleaf border in a way I hadn't thought of! With one repeat directly under another, she created a wide version of the design that becomes even more ornate and stylish.

With a faux finished background of rusts and browns, the design becomes a show of intricacy and color.
