Plaster Stenciling And Neutral Colors Create A Decorator's Dream!

Our Raised Plaster Life-sized Tree stencil is a very popular design and it seems every one who sends me their photos does it differently..... But here's one that makes you just shiver with excitement!

Jan DeMaggio was excited to get her stencil and begin planning her design. But I don't think even she imagined just how beautiful it would turn out!

Some people just seem to have an eye for design and lay-out and Jan is obviously one of them. Take some tips here from a budding master:

The richness of the gray walls...... the light color of the sofa with it's pillows being it's detail.... add a pure white Raised Plaster Tree as a focal right behind the sofa and you have a setting that deserves "Decorator's" attention!

Neutral colors give the impression of wealth, of elegance and of "taste"... they calm and sooth and invite relaxation.

I love to decorate in neutrals but that doesn't mean it has to be boring as Jan clearly shows you. Deepen the colors on one surface, lighten them on another. Add interest with intense detail as Jan did with her tree and you have a room you will LOVE being in every day!

Jan... GREAT going!!!
