Decorating with Stencils

Plaster Stenciling in John Rockefeller's Home thanks to Joyce White.

Joyce White and I have become great friends and sharing projects and laughs for quite some time now.

On the door of my office is a special decorative pillow hanging she made me with the most wonderful friendship phrase on it, completely hand done and her own design.

The Casements is the former home of John D. Rockefeller located in Ormond Beach, Florida.

It was built in 1912 and is now on the National Historic Register and is a cultural center.  The Casements Guild gives tours and operates the gift shop.

Joyce White is in her second term as a volunteer running the shop. She had a vision to remodel the shop in keeping with the era of the home.

The shop has now been totally remodeled and Joyce has put our Raised Plaster Tulip Frieze  on the doors of the cabinets. People from all over the world visit the Casements. They are in awe and amazement when they see the doors with friezes.

Joyce is extensively decorating her own home with Raised Plaster (currently re-doing her kitchen). Not only can I hardly wait to see further photos, but to get her next cheery email that always brightens my day.
