Kelley Collette, impresses me.
Why? Because she decorates "outside the box" that so many of us tend to live
in because we fear trying something new.... But Kelley won't have any of that. She gets an idea and then fearlessly jumps in to it head first! She wanted more detail on her walls so she striped them with beige paint and then added repeating vertical stripes of our Raised Plaster Katherine Stencil design, pre-tinting the plaster in a rich brown to coordinate. Ah,...but her mind trails... She holds the stencil firmly in her hands and spies an area needing something a bit more elaborate... Her head cocks slightly as the light bulb goes off in her head: a Column!!! I'll create the most beautiful, elaborate column with this same design! Off she goes to set the plan in motion and what resulted was a highly detailed central column that connects a border at the top. Using the design as a whole to repeat upward from floor to ceiling, she then used portions of the design to create the angled top to the column that connects to the top border.
