Whatever Joanie
Valenti does, she seems to do with such a flair
that personally that I feel I could recognize her work even if I'd
never been told it was she who did the job. Her sense of style is
unmistakable.
After replicating designs from her client's fabric pattern in to very
detailed stencils, Joanie proceeded to create a "custom" stenciled rug on
the hard wood floors to match. The detail was incredible as well of use of
colors and layout. This rug looks so real! And check out the hand painted
shoes in the design! What an adorable idea!
Another example of Joanie's imagination is this hand
painted stone walkway on concrete basement floor!
Basement floors are a fabulous medium for expressing yourself! Stencil or
paint a room size carpet, bricks, faux linoleum or even antique tiles! It's
up to you!
And remember, we only fear the unknown. Once we know what we are doing we
become FEARLESS!
Joanie also created a sky full of stenciled antique
airplanes for one client on a sponge painted background of muted gold tones
and browns. |
