Lynn Baron When
Lynne Baron first began telling me about her project I had NO idea it was
going to be so elaborate! WOW! She'd talked about a simple mural behind the
tub, yet here are rolling hills, grassy areas of lights and darks, a running
stream, lots of trees and flying birds to tantalize the eye and provide a
place for "escape" as one would sit and soak in that wonderful water
beneath.
Lynn is obviously an artist with a command for "perspective". Tinier trees
and small fence in the background give the sense of being able to walk right
in to the picture. Obvious strokes of greens in
various shades created realistic grass upon which to seat your imagination.
Stenciling a realistic bird within the branches of her
tree makes for a wonderful surprise and the sun makes you feel "warm" even
on a winter's day. I especially love the colors that Lynne used. Though they
are intense, they are all more "muted" colors rather than brilliant in their
hugh giving a more "relaxed" feeling to her mural.
Lynne, you did a Fabulous job! You DO hire out, right? Let's hope so! |
