	Decorating with Stencils

	A bit of masking tape and a bucket of joint compound make easy bricks!

		Cindy Quave, had a fabulous idea! She decided to craft an entire wall of bricks using simple masking tape and joint compound! She used to the tape to mask off the grout lines of her bricks, then slathered on joint compound, removed the tape and let it dry. Then she painted the bricks (though you can pre-tint the compound before applying it). Awesome job! I love it when someone has the smarts to make something we want to do easier! Wow! 	Designers tip: The great thing about working with joint compound is that if you boo-boo: scrape it off and start over!
