Raised Plaster Stenciled Garden Planters

Once the first designs of the plaster stencils were complete, I just couldn't stand it anymore and HAD to try it on something out doors!

Well, there it was... gazing out the window of my office sat 3 perfectly poised planters on a rail just dying to "get plastered"! And I was just the one to get the job done!

With pallet knife and stencil in hand, I had those babies embellished with joint compound in mere minutes! (Naturally, drying took a bit longer).

After I let them cure, I painted them the same white as the planters (in exterior latex) and a year and a half later, after snow, wind, rain, dirt, pressure washing and everything else you can think of, they are still just as beautiful as the day I did them!

You can plaster anything outdoors just as easily as indoors! So don't let that stop you!
