Painted stencils are easy, but wait until you see just how easy plaster stenciling is! Wow!

Joint compound or similar pre-mixed wall product can be found in your local hardware store such as "Lowe's" or "Home Depot". It's just like working with cake frosting! Simply get a flat end trowel, your stencil, some masking tape and you're ready to GO!
Now get just a little on the trowel and let's have some FUN!

Our plaster stencils are laser cut of extremely thick 14 mil mylar! They will give you a higher raise than any stencil currently on the market.

Step 1
Tape the plaster stencil to the wall and with your flat edge trowel, smear on a thin layer of joint compound over the top of the stencil. Once that's done, I wipe my trowel clean and go back over it lightly to smooth any heavy ridges.

Step 2
Remove the stencil gently by lifting one edge and pulling toward the opposite side.
You don't want to disturb the joint compound beneath if you can avoid it.

Got a "Boo-boo"? Simply smooth it out with a wet finger!

Got joint compound on the wall or floor where it's not supposed to be? If it's on the wall in an area close to your design, simply use a damp Q-tip. On the floor? Just wipe it up!
(always protect carpeted areas). If it has dried, just spray it with water and it will come right up.
