We've all seen those luscious moldings in higher quality (or very old)
homes and wanted them in our own. Fluted or straight moldings with ornamental plinth blocks in the corners can dress up a room quickly and add value to your home. But when you buy plinth blocks for elegant moldings at your local hardware store, these little puppies cost you a whopping $4.00 each! So why not make your own out of plaster for pennies? Door and window moldings become ultra easy when you use plinth blocks for the corners (no confusing angles to cut!) and straight cut solid or decorative wood molding. Nothing more than a simple hand saw and a hammer and nails needed! Anyone can do it!
