Cast Plaster Molds

Small Floral Medallion Mold

This is one of my favorite molds to cast because there's just so darned much you can do with it! This little medallion measures 2 3/4" round and very ornate!

Perfect for small projects such as hat boxes for the most ornate Christmas gift for family and friends to drawer fronts on that ratty dresser in the guest room or add it to any of our plaster stencils for something really different and so beautiful!

Below, we added it to our new "Teardrop Swag" plaster stencil for an incredibly beautiful wall border! There's no end to what you can do with them!

Casting plaster is easy! Mix Plaster of Paris 2 parts plaster to one part water, stir well, pour in to the mold after spraying with Pam cooking spray or other release agent, wait 30-45 minutes then pop it out!

Applying it to the wall is a cinch! Just spread the back with a coat of joint compound, hold to the wall for about 1 minute and it's there good and solid!
