| Who doesn't adore
rosebuds? They still make the prettiest wallpaper. And this stencil will
save you tons of money over standard wallpaper rolls!
This luscious design was so easy to do. I simply
pre-tinted the joint compound with green and pink paint and used a tiny
scraper to do the leaves and the buds. If you can't find a little scraper,
simply cut one out of a coffee can plastic lid. It works like a charm!

I first painted the background yellow gold and let it
dry. I then plastered the design with pre-colored joint compound (sure saves
a lot of work over hand painting when you want a colored design!).

Once the plaster was dry, I then mixed a bit of warm
brown wall paint with translucent wall glaze and brushed it over the design.
Using a dry cloth, I then dabbed off the excess,
leaving bits of dark paint in the recesses of the design. It came out
scrumptious!
This would also be a great design for the recesses of
your bathroom cabinet doors!
