This plaster stencil was designed to mimic wrought iron
scrolls and leaves. It repeats in to a stunning border or use it as a
singular frieze.
Personally, I would love to create a large, rectangle
frame using this stencil design around the light fixture in my master bath. I think
I'll paint the inside of the frame in pale sage green and pre-tint the joint
compound darker sage green then add gold highlights to the design itself
with an artists brush and metallic craft paint.
Painting the rest of the ceiling in a sand color should
really finish it off beautifully!
