Plaster Victorian Wall Panel Stencil

 (Click Photos to Enlarge)

If you have never stepped in to an old Victorian mansion, you wouldn't believe the ornate wainscoting on the lower portion of the walls.

As I did my research on old Victorian homes in developing this Raised Plaster Stencil line, I was introduced to that lovely look and fell for it like a ton of bricks! Hence, our Victorian Wall panel stencil was born.

When repeated side by side around the lower level of the wall, it creates much that same look. With two stencil overlays, you create the outside box shape of the design in the first plastering, then go back and add that wonderful detail with the second stencil. Now, paint the color of your wall for simple "elegance" or do as I did in the photo above and add just pale hints of color with a stencil brush and stencil cream.

This is also a great stencil design to run up the sides of doors or fireplaces. Anywhere you would like to increase the apparent size of the architecture and add to it's beauty.

2 Stencil Overlays 16.5" x 6.75"
