There's ample storage and plenty of room for family and friends in this newly re-designed kitchen.

It started out as a very tired kitchen, with worn counters and cabinets, lavender Formica and the most hideous florescent lighting. But we changed all that!

A re-design of the island created a much larger and more useful working space. Special touches in the corbels and ornamentals brought elegance.

Newly installed slab granite adds to the texture and beauty of the room and will last forever.

Outdated black appliances were replaced with new, brushed silver appliances. Gas, convection oven is dream to cook with! And an ultra quiet dishwasher that holds plenty due to dual sprays.

Custom hardwood laminate in a rich "fawn" tone was arched to enable chairs or stools to slide back from the island without hitting carpeting. Hardwood laminate is not the "printed" wood look. It's real wood, 1/4" thick that can be re-finished if the need ever arises.

Cabinet and pantry doors feature similar ornamental detail.

   Twin chandeliers now brighten the kitchen and can be dimmed to a soft romantic glow in the evening.
