Large Floral Medallion Mold

Small Floral Medallion Mold

Raised Plaster Small Designs #1 Stencil

Norma has a Victorian home. She wanted so badly to bring it back to it's former glory days of ornamental plaster and detailing when one day, she stumbled across our website and found our Ornamental Plaster Molds and Raised Plaster Stencils. Her mind was reeling from the possibilities and she felt like a kid on Christmas morning.

Norma was elated! Now came the task of deciding which of the lovely molds and stencil designs would become part of her lovely plan.

But alas, she succumbed to her favorites and chose the designs to your left.

Once her new molds arrived, and armed with a full bag of plaster of paris, she began creating the mold pieces to add to the wainscoting panels of her Victorian staircase.

Using the Large Floral Medallion mold as her centerpiece, she then applied the Small Floral Medallion mold pieces to the corners of each panel, also placing one on top and below the large medallion.

Wha La! Instant Victorian detail!

She then used our Raised Plaster Small Designs #1 Stencil to add more detailing the the open spaces of each panel. This gave a secondary level of dimension that tickled her pink!

Once she was finished adding the detail, she then waited for it to dry and painted the wainscoting with brown paint and then deepened the detail on the ornamental pieces with a much darker glaze.

The entire make over makes it appear that the ornamental plaster has been there since the day the house was built at the turn of the century.
