Yvonne Popitz has done so much to her home. Fireplace, kitchen cabinets and her basement floor.

For pros, if I mention faux finishing something, they simply see the picture in their head and already know what to do. But for the rest of you, you hear the word "faux finish" and you cringe! Why? Simply because you have never done it before.

There was a time when Yvonne hadn't done it before, when I hadn't done it before.

Remember that we all we simply fear the "unknown". Once we do it, it's not "unknown" anymore and the more we do it, the better we get at it!

Sometimes it takes doing just a little research, getting the right products, following directions and going for it just like Yvonne did.

She created this beautiful finish on her concrete floor all by herself and you can too!

See how I did mine and enjoy the fun and excitement of doing your own!
