When we first came out with our Raised Plaster Stencils, Phyllis Katheder jumped on the chance to create ultra dramatic walls with our Raised Plaster Belinda Molding Stencil and it's sister design: Raised Plaster Belinda Panel Stencil.

I was so struck by her color choices! Deep taupe below the chair rail molding and rich burgundy above. How striking!

Using the Belinda Panel Stencil inside the frames on the lower half of the wall then using it's matching border above really gave the room a "high end" feel.

She also used the Belinda Panel Stencil on the back wall of her kitchen counters. It contrasts beautifully with the granite and adds intricate detail on an otherwise plain wall.

Designer's tip:

If you would love to have ornamental frames on your walls but don't want the expense and trouble of wood moldings, give our Wall Frame Mold Plaster Set a try! Create beautiful wall frames of any size with cheap plaster of paris and joint compound. It's easy and gorgeous!

It can be very elegant to let the joint compound dry to it's natural white color. Protect it with a solution of 1/2 white glue (such as Elmer's) and 1/2 water. It seals out the dirt and dries crystal clear!
