If Rusty Hedrick can't find it in a stencil, by golly, she'll just paint one! Rusty is certainly no stranger to our website and not far from our thoughts wondering what incredible thing she'll come up with next! She wanted a niche in her family room on that larger than life wall above her sofa. What would be better than a larger than life niche all decorated with a large vase of flowers? Click the photo to enlarge it and take a gander at that wonderful shading that makes her niche seem to come to life with realism! The soft grays coordinate perfectly with the beautiful "water like" blue of the walls. Rusty, honey! I swear, you come up with some of the most unique ideas I've ever seen!
Here's what Rusty had to say about this project: This is the niche I painted on my living room wall. I took a side shot as well so you can see my Palm Tree in the background. I drew the niche on a transparency and overhead projected it on the wall. It's 7' tall! I painted the niche and then added the tatouage urn and roses.
