Glenda Klempay is
one of my favorite artists. She pushes the envelope and tries just what she
sees in her mind without fear. The results are dramatic!
Bold, contrasting colors on the wall and moldings opened
the door to adding further detail with our
Raised Plaster
Lattice Stencil,
Raised Plaster
Rosevine Stencil and our
Rose Set
Mold.
By leaving the plaster lattice in white, (joint compound
naturally dries white so no need to paint), she added pre-tinted joint
compound in green for the rose vine, cast lots of plaster roses then
pre-painted them before applying to the wall.
The design fits perfectly! Her layout is impressive with
combinations of large and small roses, each painted with iridescent paint
for a soft glow.
Notice the
Raised Plaster Frilly Acanthus Stencil design used as the border across
the top of the wall. Again, left in white, it helps to bring the two designs
together.
Thank you Glenda!
