Decorating with Faux Finishing

Faux Finishes to make you Green with Envy! Ok, Green, Silver, Brown, Rust, Gold....

Marble, Bark, Industrial, Damask, Reptile, Granite.... Kathy Van Gough can do it all. Not only can she replicate these fine, expensive finishes, she does it with such expertise it's unbelievable!

I keep oogling them... glancing at furniture pieces, wandering the house for an empty wall (of which there are none left). And I'll bet there aren't any in Kathy's house either!

Faux finishes are learned and then refined. They are not out of your reach, nor are the theories behind them difficult. YOU too can do them and with a bit of practice and intelligent use of color to mimic original finishes (such as wood graining, marble and granite), you can create beautiful finishes as well.
