The "Painted Ladies" Plaster Bath Project |

By Victoria Larsen What I started with and what I ended with were worlds apart. That dingy little powder room was transformed in to a very elegant place complete with ornate window treatment (ultra cheap!) and ornate plaster ceiling and walls! I cast 5 medallions of our "Painted Ladies" design (available in the molds section) and mounted them on the ceiling. I then plaster stenciled the painted ladies design in between. The 3rd photo down shows a photo of the entire ceiling. Stunning! I then used our Belinda Border to add a raised design just above the floor molding. Ah, the detail is gorgeous! | Designers tip: On ultra intricate designs, scraping off all excess joint compound or plaster product from the stencil allows the intricate detail of the design to be more exact and prominent. |
