My favorite
television show is "America's Castles". I watch and record it every
weekend and totally loose myself in the opulence of the furniture and wall
decor of these very fine homes owned by the very wealthy in days past.
I especially love the detailed frames of moldings that
typically run ceiling to floor of these beautiful mansions. You'll find me
designing many of them as time goes by.
My
"Wilshire" Frame stencil set is the first of what will soon become a "series" of
plaster frame stencils and is quite ornate in it's central design. With
connecting double overlay "bars" that run vertically and repeat to any
length, you add the final touch to this elegant raised design.
With the bars added to either side of the central design
then repeated only once downward, again adding the central design to the
bottom, this beautiful plaster frame measures 19" wide and 35" long. You can make
it as long as you wish with more repeats. Two overlays give it a double
raise both in the detail of the central design and the tiny ridges on the
vertical bars
